Emilee, the founder and designer, wanted to break away from the usual beach-side imagery commonly associated with sun-safe clothing. She envisioned a modern, desert-inspired aesthetic, blending cacti textures, muted tones, and sunlit spaces to create a fresh, editorial look that highlights both the clothing and the brand story.

Shooting on the Gold Coast, we found the perfect versatile home with indoor and outdoor spaces that allowed us to capture dynamic, editorial-style photos while keeping the imagery approachable and aspirational. Every corner of the location provided unique perspectives, helping showcase the sun-safe clothing and lifestyle the brand promotes.

Styling emphasized sun-safe essentials in a natural, effortless way. Wide-brimmed hats, sunglasses, tote bags, and sunscreen were thoughtfully incorporated into the shoot, highlighting the functionality of the clothing while maintaining its style. Emilee modeled the collection herself alongside her husband, adding a personal and relatable touch that speaks to her audience.

We also captured close-up shots to emphasize the craftsmanship of each piece—from hoods and zippers to the fabric textures. Personal branding images showed Emilee’s design sketches and the creative process, positioning her as both the designer and CEO behind Luxe Sun Clothing.
