Yes. Eve Editorial offers standalone headshot sessions for individuals and teams who need a smaller collection of polished, contemporary portraits without planning a complete branding shoot.

These are ideal for LinkedIn, company websites, speaking engagements, press features, professional profiles and team pages. You will still receive guidance with preparation, posing and expression, but the session is simpler and more focused than our full branding experiences.

If you need multiple outfits, locations, storytelling imagery or a broader marketing library, we may recommend a personal branding experience instead.

You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose or feeling naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Most of our clients tell us they feel nervous, awkward or “not photogenic” before their shoot.

Marigold will guide you throughout the entire session, from the placement of your hands and body to your expression, movement and connection with the camera. Her fashion photography background brings a refined understanding of posing, angles and light, while keeping the experience relaxed and encouraging.

The goal is not to make you perform like someone else. It is to help you feel comfortable enough for your confidence and personality to come through.

Absolutely. Wardrobe is an important part of your visual story, so you will not be left to work it out alone.

All our clients receive our carefully curated Style Guide, which has years of learned experience in it, so you will have all our hot tips on what looks great in front of the camera.

We will also run through suggestions that will go with the overall branding experience in your strategy session once we have all the full vision all coming together. Our recommendations will be based on your brand, body shape, chosen location and the different stories we want to tell. We will consider colour, shape, texture, layering, accessories and how each look will work with the overall shoot.

If you would like more hands-on support, a professional stylist can also be added to help refine your existing wardrobe or source complete looks for the shoot.

Professional hair and makeup are included in selected Eve Editorial experiences and can be arranged as an addition for others.

We work with experienced artists who understand camera-ready makeup and know how to create a polished result without making you feel overdone or unlike yourself. Your look will be planned around your personal style, brand, wardrobe and the type of imagery we are creating.

We will clearly explain what is included in your recommended experience before you book.

The number of outfits and locations depends on the experience you choose, the length of the shoot and how much variety you need in your final library.

Rather than adding outfits simply for the sake of having more, we plan each look around a specific story, offer, audience or marketing purpose. The same applies to locations. One thoughtfully chosen location can often provide multiple settings, while a larger production may benefit from moving between several environments.

We will recommend a realistic plan that gives you variety without making the day feel rushed or compromising the quality of the imagery.

For personal branding photography, booking approximately four to eight weeks ahead usually gives us enough time to plan your strategy, wardrobe, location and creative team properly.

Larger productions, shoots requiring a specific or an international location or projects involving photography and video may need a longer lead time. If your content is connected to a website launch, campaign or event, we also need to allow time for image selection, retouching and final delivery.

Occasionally, earlier dates become available, so it is always worth getting in touch if you are working with a shorter timeframe.

During the strategy process, we will look at what you are promoting, where you regularly show up and the kinds of content you need, then plan your photographs around those real-world uses.

Your two-minute brand video can introduce your business or sit prominently on your website, while the behind-the-scenes video and colour-graded B-roll clips can be used to create reels, social posts and shorter pieces of ongoing content.

Your Icon Era video production includes a polished two-minute brand video, a behind-the-scenes video and all of the individually colour-graded B-roll clips captured throughout your shoot.

Altogether, you will receive approximately 30-50 video assets that can be used across your website and social media. These may include footage of you working, interacting with clients or your team, moving through your space, sharing your process and bringing the different parts of your brand story to life.

Yes. How much we organise depends on whether you choose the VIP Icon Era or Guided Icon Era experience.

With VIP Icon Era, Eve Editorial manages the creative team and location for you. We can coordinate the hair and makeup artist, videographer, assistants and other creative professionals required for the production, as well as sourcing and booking a location that supports your brand and visual strategy.

With Guided Icon Era, you remain in charge of making the bookings, but you are not left to find everyone from scratch. We provide our trusted recommendations for the creative team and suitable locations, then you can choose and book the options that best suit your vision, preferences and budget.

Both experiences include Eve Editorial’s strategy, planning and creative direction. The difference is whether you would like us to manage the production arrangements for you or prefer to organise those elements yourself with our guidance.

Not at all. You do not need to arrive with a video concept, script or list of exactly what you want us to film.

Your video ideas are developed through the questionnaire and strategy session process. We will look at your business, audience, personality, services and marketing goals, then work out which stories and types of footage will be most useful for your website and social media.

Supplier, talent, location and production costs are outlined separately and approved before the shoot, so you will always understand what is included before moving forward.

Yes. If you need several types of imagery for a collection, we can plan the production to create both the practical assets required to sell each item and the more conceptual imagery you need to market the brand.

For example, we may photograph consistent e-commerce images that clearly show each product for your online store, followed by campaign or lookbook imagery featuring selected pieces in a more styled, story-led way. This gives you individual product images alongside attention-grabbing content for advertising, social media, email marketing, press and seasonal launches.

Combining these into one production can create a more cohesive collection of imagery and make efficient use of your models, creative team and location. The schedule will depend on the number of products, required angles, styling changes, sets and final deliverables, so we will plan and quote the production around exactly what you need.

Fashion and commercial photography is quoted individually because no two productions have the same requirements.

To prepare an accurate quote, we will ask about the creative concept, number of products or looks, models, location, required team, photography and video deliverables, production responsibilities, intended usage, timeframe and travel. We will also need to know whether the content is for your website and organic social media or for a larger advertising, print, retail or campaign rollout.

Once we understand the complete brief, you will receive a tailored proposal showing the photography, production, creative team and licensing costs relevant to your project.

All Eve Editorial commercial photography packages include usage of your final images on your business website and organic social media channels.

If you plan to use the imagery for paid advertising or broader promotional purposes, we will discuss this with you before preparing your quote. Digital advertising, billboards, in-store marketing materials, print advertising, packaging and other campaign applications are priced individually because each involves a different scale and value of exposure.

Your licence will clearly outline where the images can be used, so you know exactly what is included. If your marketing plans expand later, additional usage can also be arranged without needing to commission an entirely new photoshoot.

The goal is to create variety while helping you become more aware of how you move in front of the camera. By the end of the shoot, you should feel more confident, capable and comfortable taking direction.

We will help you plan your wardrobe before the shoot, so you will not be left staring at your clothes wondering what to bring.

A strong model folio should show your versatility without allowing elaborate clothing to overwhelm you. We will usually recommend a considered mix of simple, well-fitting pieces and more fashion-led looks that allow us to create variety while keeping the focus on your face, movement and potential.

Your wardrobe recommendations will be tailored to your look, goals, chosen location and the types of images we are planning. You may also be encouraged to bring additional options on the day so we can make the strongest final choices together.

A model folio session usually includes several different looks within one carefully selected location.

The exact number will depend on the experience you book, the available shooting time and the complexity of each change. Rather than rushing through as many outfits as possible, we plan each look to show something different about your range, such as natural, commercial, beauty, lifestyle or more editorial imagery.

Where possible, we will also use different areas, backgrounds and lighting within the location to make the finished portfolio feel varied without losing cohesion.

Yes. Professional hair and makeup can be arranged for your model folio shoot, although it is not automatically included as standard.

We work with experienced hair and makeup artists who understand photography and know how to create a polished result while still allowing you to look like yourself. Depending on your goals, we may recommend natural, agency-friendly grooming or a look that can be developed throughout the shoot to create greater variety.

If you would like hair and makeup included, let us know when you enquire so we can check availability and include it in your quote.

Most modelling agencies want to see clear, current images that show what you genuinely look like, along with photographs that demonstrate your range, expression and ability to take direction.

The exact requirements vary between agencies and the type of modelling you hope to pursue. Some may ask for simple natural images or digitals, while a broader portfolio may also include commercial, beauty, lifestyle, fashion and editorial photographs.

During the planning process, we will talk about your goals and create a balanced folio that keeps the focus on you. If you already have a particular agency in mind, we recommend checking its current submission requirements so those can be considered when planning your shoot.

Yes. Eve Editorial welcomes aspiring models under 18 and understands how important it is for both the model and their family to feel comfortable with the process.

Marigold holds a current Working with Children Check, and every shoot is planned to provide a professional, respectful and supportive environment. Age-appropriate wardrobe, posing and creative direction will be discussed during the planning process.

A parent or legal guardian will need to be involved in the booking and provide the required consent before the photoshoot.

Absolutely. You are welcome to bring a parent, guardian or trusted support person to your photoshoot if it will help you feel more comfortable.

Models under 18 are not required to have a parent remain on set throughout the entire session, but a parent or legal guardian must be involved in the booking and provide consent. They are also very welcome to attend.

We want the experience to feel safe, professional and enjoyable, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you feel more at ease.

Model folio shoots usually take place within one carefully chosen location, such as a studio, private residence, hired lifestyle location or outdoor setting.

The location is selected according to your look, goals, planned wardrobe and the range of images we want to create. We will look for an environment with several useful areas, backgrounds or lighting options so we can produce variety without losing valuable shooting time travelling between locations.

Travel, accommodation, transport and any additional production requirements will be included in your proposal where applicable. If you have a particular location in mind, include it in your enquiry so we can account for it accurately when planning and quoting.

After your shoot, you will receive a private online gallery containing the strongest images from the session. You can use the heart function to create your favourites list and leave comments if you have any specific retouching notes.

Once your selections are confirmed, your chosen photographs will be professionally retouched. Final images are delivered through an online gallery in both high-resolution and web-ready formats, making it easy to download the appropriate files for print, websites, social media and marketing.

Selected photographs receive professional colour correction and polished, natural retouching consistent with the Eve Editorial style.

Standard retouching may include refinements to colour, exposure, skin, temporary blemishes, clothing and distracting background elements where appropriate. Our aim is for you and your products to look polished while still appearing natural and recognisable.

More extensive compositing, major background alterations, product reconstruction, body reshaping or substantial changes requested after approval may incur an additional editing fee. Any specialised commercial retouching requirements should be discussed during the quoting process.

Turnaround depends on the size and complexity of the project, but your expected delivery timeframe will be confirmed before the shoot.

For personal branding sessions, proof galleries are generally delivered within approximately two weeks. Final delivery then depends on how quickly selections are completed and the amount of retouching required.

Fashion, e-commerce, commercial photography and video projects may follow a different production schedule because of their volume, editing requirements and approval process. If you are working towards a launch, publication date or campaign deadline, let us know as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Yes. If your experience includes a set number of final photographs, you will have the option to purchase additional images from your proof gallery.

Simply add all the photographs you love to your favourites list. We will confirm the most suitable additional-image collection and provide an invoice before the extra photographs are retouched.

Commercial and fashion productions are handled according to the deliverables and licensing outlined in the approved proposal.

Marigold Meagher and Eve Editorial retain copyright in the photographs. Clients receive permission to use the final selected images according to the licence and usage terms included in their agreement.

For personal branding clients, this generally covers the usual ways you need to promote yourself and your business. For fashion and commercial clients, the licence is tailored to the channels, campaign duration, territory and scale of use discussed during the quoting process.

Copyright ownership and usage rights are different things. You do not need to own the copyright to use your images confidently, but the agreed licence needs to cover how and where you intend to use them.

Not automatically. Your image licence applies to the person or business named in the agreement and does not automatically transfer to suppliers, collaborators, venues, designers, publications or other businesses involved in the shoot.

If another business would like to publish or use the photographs for its own marketing, it must receive permission and, where required, arrange an appropriate usage licence. This protects the client’s investment, the people featured in the imagery and the copyright held by Eve Editorial.

Let us know before the shoot if several businesses will need access to the final content. We can establish the appropriate permissions and licensing from the beginning.

Your photoshoot date is secured once your agreement has been signed and full payment has been received.

A date cannot be held or considered confirmed until both of these steps have been completed. Any separately booked suppliers, talent or locations may also have their own payment requirements, which will be explained before you commit to the production.

Full payment is required when booking to secure your photoshoot date.

If a separate payment arrangement has been approved, your invoice will clearly show the instalment dates and when the remaining balance must be paid. Any supplier, talent, location or additional production expenses will be handled according to the terms outlined in your proposal.

Yes. Eve Editorial offers payment plans to help you spread the cost of your experience over a timeframe that feels more manageable.

Your payment schedule will be arranged when you book, with the full balance due no later than two weeks before your photoshoot date. This allows you to plan ahead and secure your shoot without needing to make the entire investment in one payment.

If you would like to use a payment plan, let us know when you enquire and we can talk you through the available options.

We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to move your photoshoot, please contact us as early as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate one change of date, subject to availability.

You will remain responsible for any expenses already incurred and any additional fees required to rebook locations, suppliers, talent or other production elements. If we cannot accommodate the requested change, it will be treated as a cancellation.

If you cancel more than four weeks before the shoot, payments will be refunded less any costs already incurred. If your Visual Brand Strategy Session has already taken place, its value will also be deducted.

For cancellations made between two and four weeks before the shoot, the 25% booking portion and any costs already incurred will be retained. Cancellations within 14 days of the photoshoot will forfeit all monies paid.

The complete cancellation and rescheduling conditions will be included in your agreement before you book.

Queensland weather can be unpredictable, so we monitor the forecast closely and discuss the options with you rather than making an automatic decision too early.

Sometimes the best choice is to move to a suitable backup location or reschedule the shoot, particularly if most of the production depends on outdoor conditions. At other times, the forecast may indicate a brief passing shower that is likely to clear within 15 minutes, making it reasonable to continue as planned.

The decision will be made using the most current weather information, the requirements of the shoot and your needs as the client. Any additional expenses involved in changing the location or date, including supplier and location rebooking fees, will be discussed with you before changes are confirmed.
